Bewitching wind with pizza. Levante on Tarifa.
Tarifa is a weird place. Everyone wants to come here, but when they do, they usually sit on the beach waiting for ponente.
Ooo, the winds. Here are wind directions on Mediterranean so you know what I’m talking about.
So levante is gusty and anything but constant. In short words one of the most irritating winds there are. One time you have 6 knots and then the gust of 43 knt comes. It’s from 11 to 80 km/h in no time.
And then you have the chop. Something like a wave, but short and then you have another one. Bloody teeth breakers.
Never the less, yesterday my crazy side took over and I went there. No kiting is pretty much the same irritating as gusty winds, so not much big of the difference. I had almost private session. One other kiter and maybe three windsurfers. And actually it was not so bad. At least until wind changed his attitude from „because soup was too salty” to „I will never forget about your birthday (especially when you have PMS) baby”.
Unfortunately my and Philip bewitching with pizza didn’t help. Yesterday we took ponente pizza and today it’s still levante.
